A Skewed Paradise

Roses are red
Violets are blue
In Soviet Russia
Poem writes you!

Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
Most poems rhyme.
Thisone doesn't.

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Something smells funny
It might be you

There was an old man in Peru
Who dreamt he was eating his shoe!
He woke in the night
With a terrible fright
And found it was perfectly true...

Here and there, drift about,
Come and go, left without.
Like wind's playful tugs at leaves
In fall's silent dying shout.

None know why, except for her,
Exactly why she act this way.
Or who she is, or where she goes,
Or what she might have to say.

Yet all in all, I do believe,
This drifter won't just take her leave.
She'll come again, she'll go away.
Like tide runs through a broken sieve.

Ocean currents, ever drifting
Tug, pull, and sway.
When and where will she appear
Only time can say....
